This interview with Viroj Sumyai, the President of the United Nations International Narcotics Control Board (INCB), discusses key problems in relation to women and substance use. Sumyai urges that the disproportionate problem of substance use among women and a lack of resources available to women in low- and middle-income countries should be made priorities by UN Member States in addressing prevention of drug addictions.
